Sunday, July 29th was a fantastic night for comedy in Winnipeg. Every Sunday 20-30 “comics” show up to the Caver in Osbourne Village. It’s the bar that’s under a pub that only opens up for music or comedy. Sunday night is comedy night. The bar was packed full of people looking for some cheap pints, good laughs, and the promise of one odd ball who might sit on stage and stare silently (and violently) into the audience for her full 5 minute slot.
The three hosts of The Bus & Muffler (Dan Huen, Ryan Ash and Tim Gray) were in prime form as they each gave notable audience-slaughtering performances. As well, their guests Ben “Old Ball Coach” Walker, Toby Hargrave and Brett Madill were the finest company a late night drive home radio show could ask for.
