I’ve seen That Canadian Guy perform about half a dozen times and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed every experience. I remember seeing him do a set at Rumor’s in ’07 and half way through the show having an obnoxiously drunk heckler attempt to ruin the whole show with his desperate cries for attention. The heckler was removed in a fashion that put a seriously heavy tension in the room. Only a true professional would be able to pull the audience out of that rut and give everyone a truly memorable experience. Glen Foster did just that. Within minutes he had the whole audience buckling over with that kind of laughter that resonates from somewhere deep within our bellies. It was one hell of a good show. I caught this interview when he was in town for the Winnipeg Comedy Festival in 2008.
