This was the first version of the mocks created for Pepsi for the upcoming Pepsi CFL Western promotion by IC Group. This is a Connect ID sweepstakes promotion, where CFL fans are able to win a VIP trip to the 2009 Grey Cup in Calgary. The target audience is mainly men between ages of 14-30. This first design, following the can-in-the-field lead from the supplied POS creative, uses a lot of illuminating effects and dark colours, to coincide with the Pepsi MAX brand. Tying back to the Pepsi brand, I’ve kept a few blue highlights and tints. The final approved design went even further with following the Pepsi MAX brand, keeping with the entire site being filled with black, white, and red colours.
